  • Bearclaw Invitational 3 - Aug 22nd & 23rd

So here is all the info you need to know about the 3rd annual Bearclaw Invitational at Mount Washington. First of all, I want to say thanks to all of my sponsors. They helped me bring this idea in my head to life, and without them none of this would have been possible. Adidas Eyewear, Specialized, Fox...

  • Bearclaw Slopestyle Fun Rating: 1/10

I had the chance to take a couple attempts at the slopestyle stunts yesterday. I was totally disappointed. The first drop sucks because you have to slam on the brakes right when you land, even if you land on the wood. The next section is in pretty good shape but unfortunately I am in the 98% of riders...

August 25th, from 12 - 4pm, Mount Washington will be hosting the first ever Sleeman's Jump Jam . Come for the dirt, some big air, the DJ, and the good times! • Aug. 25 Jump Jam

I am just trying to figure out where we stand with this event. Currently the weather is crappy and the forecast for the next few days is average at best. No one is posting about hitting any of the slopestyle stunts. What's the deal cvripper Tom? Cotty

  • Re: Mount Washington current conditions

It seems that the bigger stunts on this year's course will be more difficult to platform. The distance to the trannies on the bonar logs is pretty big. I assume they will rip at least one of these out. The step down is like 5X wider than last year. I assume they will funnel it off with barricades...

All four members of Team J.A. Custom made it up on Tuesday night for some Hawk runs. MMT, H, and 4X were the dryest trails, W, EE, and HS had some really mucky sections, BB was okay. My buddy was up for the first time this season and it was the most disappointed I had seen him since 2005 re: Mt. Wash...

  • Re: Mount Washington current conditions

Me and The Ferg made it up tonight. Conditions were good but quite cool. MM was closed but we hit pretty much everything else except MHC. The rebuilt section at the very start of BB from the chair looks good but it is not open yet. One of our best runs was HS to 4X to closest to the chair wood drop....

Did you make it up on Sunday night Tom? Cute Hawk lifty girl let me take the next chair after the trail crew up at like 7:29pm so I was the last rider down the mtn. I sat in my truck in the hawk parking lot for bit after that but there was no sign of you. I checked out the little berms but I didn't...

That's sweet man. I hope there is a 'No Tricks' division so I can go in it! Cotty

  • Re: Mount Washington current conditions

I WAS WRONG. The slopestyle building has begun. There are two nice looking extremely tight berms going R/L right after the initial drop-in. I assume they started designing it this way so you don't carry too much speed into the first stunt. Hopefully there is a ride around for light dudes with <...
