    Cabin Fever Trail

The trail is coming along nicely i now have a ridable trail from the Cabin down. The trail ends at the new road off branch 21 right across from the KMA trail. This section of trail is an easy down hill that anyone can ride with whatever bike. The trail above the Cabin is more freeride down hill, the plan is to make a trail that everyone can ride so some easier options will be made. There is no hard pedaling on any part of the trail and i think people will find it a fun one to ride.

Good work! Saw some of the pics and it looks nice mate. Is Boston Main the road at the red gate? I was up there the other day for the first time and found Skifreak's new trail before the bridge but am not sure where branch 21 or Boston Main starts. Checked the map but just need some guidance.

Branch 21 aka Boston Main is the right hand road just after the red gate. it's the one with the fresher crushed rock on it with a short steep section. It's rebuilt for a bit but not too far up it gets washed out and only accessible to high clearance 4x4's and quads

Well there you go ski freak beat me on that one. Jesse has done some work on the 22' jump in the logged area making it better, way to scary for me.There is some nice Cedar right at the start of KMA left there from logging would make some nice boards.

Thanks guys. Shane the Chainsaw Surgeon will be coming with me on the 21st and I have never seen anyone knock out shingles as fast as him so if you need some cut up I am sure he will offer. I just hope I feel better by then.

Jazz wax i'am getting all the cedar boards i need from a couple of cedars cut down in my backyard and using a wheel barrel to get them up the trail. There are lots of cedar and fir stringers lying around in the logged area so lots to work with.I think that there is lots of water holes and area's on existing trails that could use some small bridges are even simple sideshow stunts.

Universe: Was who ripping butts in the plunge? (That sounds bad and painful)

Ryder: Happy hauling! I can't do much as I have rotator cuff tendonitis after a fall due to vertigo. Wasn't even on a bike... Agreed that many areas on existing trails could use bridges but I did not want to do any work until I could get the original builder's permission so maintaining original trails seemed like a good first option to show some skills in building. Hence the Big Log rebuild, Space Nugget repair and reworking Tie the Knot. I would love to build a long section of trail that does not actually touch the ground and littered with technical optional lines. I love techie slims way more than mucho air or big daddy drops. Maybe a section of Cabin Fever? Look forward to meeting you on Friday.

    Re: Cabin Fever Trail

Pity. I will have to walk Cabin Fever to scope some possible lines in the next couple of weeks during the healing time and will let you know what's possible. Is it easier to walk from the bottom across from KMA or from the trailhead? If so, where is the start?

I drive to the start of KMA and walk up it comes down over the bank staight across from KMA sorta like a mini cupcake grande finale .The start of the trail is not 100% decided but will come off two shieks so a pretty long trail
