    Re: Two Shieks almost clear

rode the same trails today.  pretty good conditions, dry, but not a dust bowl yet.  Took the g/f for her first ride on forbidden.  she enjoyed it.  Now she wants a full face.  Next stop Mt Washington?

Feb 24th Update - snow melting - new trails - work days

Forbidden has been getting some nice spring sun and has begun to melt quite nicely. Reports of minimal snow at the top of Rudy's and Tomato Creek is in great shape.

Was able to get a good half day building Boston Tea Party, a new berm and roughing in the rest of the trail with Ryder's help (nice small saw you got there)

We'll hopefully setup a trail day soon for the Plunge and another after to complete the new trail!

Rode Arbutus and Tomato Creek today and both are in good shape.  Looking forward to finishing off the 2 sheiks repairs we started last fall.

Two sheiks will take a bit still before it's melted off, but the stunt on Lumpy's should be workable soon to rebuild.

yah, just need to find a wood source for up there, apparently not much cedar in those parts.

    Forbidden - Rudy's and Screamin - May 3, 2008

Was up on Rudy's and the bottom of Screamin Demon today. First time - I thought Rudy's was way too easy to have all my gear on until I got to the bottom - holy fark!

There's a section on Screamin just above the Rudy cut in and below the last big rock face that is badly eroded. Maybe next trail day?  Could use some water bars and grade reversals and a bit of armoring.
