Have the RCMP been informed? Surely trespassing (I presume it's private land) is an offense that is being committed. If they are driving close to walking trails it is also dangerous so they are causing public endangerment.

 RCMP doesnt have much interest in this sort of thing.  Kinda of out of their scope of practice.  The land in question is public land.  They are driving "on" walking/biking trails.

 I went and met with the Ministry of Forests Compliance and Enforcement Officer on Monday. It turns out that they are 4x4ing within the Campbell River Watershed, a ticketable offence, not to mention damaging creeks (up to $100,000 fine) and falling timber (jail time/fines). I also got the local Conservation Officer involved. So between these two I am hopeful that this little 4x4 trail will be shut down asap.

Made a couple signs for the trail that I built over winter in the Beaver Lodge Lands in Campbell River.  The riding there reminds me a lot of the Delta Watershed just outside Vancouver where I started mtbing.  Fast and Flowy, if you pedal hard enough.   

 These are the first signs I've made, so if anyone has some other signage ideas or examples lets see em.

I made a couple of signs for the Cabin Fever trail, one for where it crosses Dirty Jane and another for the start. I haven't been able to clear out the top section because of all the snow,warm weather is coming so that should happen soon.My signs are pretty basic i did use a nice Cedar board though.What are the conditions like in snowden is there still lots of snow.

 Snows been gone about a month now.  Most of the popular trails have been cleared, trees still down on the lesser ridden/farther out trails.  The 50km loop is clear and in decent shape.

yah the Peckerhead sign is pretty pimp.  I dont think my sign making abilities will ever match that kind of quality, which is OK because I kind of like the rustic hand routered look.

Got out for a little nite build session tonite.  Nice nite, full moon and clear skies, perfect conditions for building in an open clearcut.

Needed to cross this section of clear cut so I figured might as well build a couple structures along the way.  Thought this old tipped over stump could be turned into a feature.

Plan was to build an "up and over" with a ladder going off the back of the root wad to a nearby stump.  took me a while but I found a chunk of cedar in a slash pile for rungs.

going to try make a long section of stump to stump skinnies to get through the clearcut.

first things first i would like to complement you on the wood work looks great. Secondly  I was woundering where abouts is beaver fever in beaver lodge lands is the signs you made posted in there now ? because i would like to check it out and if there is ever a trail day I am interested in expanding and working on the trail and just helpping out.
