First Forbidden Trail Day a success

With the short notice for this first trail day on Forbidden, the turnout of 18 was fabulous. Weather while chilly at the start (ice covered puddles going in) it was dry and kept you working to stay warm. The group broke up and worked along at each small section mud hole, repair etc. Progress was pretty quick and we all accumulated to the Good Enuf section. one of the most washed out sections of the trail. With many people to pick rocks, we went to work rebuilding the old line which has taken quite some erosion of late. A few others got to work of finishing the bridge over the pond which is now complete!

The next day is planned for Sunday Dec 16th and our focus will be on work further down the trail.

A big thanks to all who made it out! a lot of hard work has been put back into a great trail.

Good stuff you guys. We got a lot of work with the 12 of us up at the yet to be determined trail network name of "The Allen Lake Project" Sorry didn't show last night. Fell asleep at like 6:30 and woke up at midnight and then again at 5:30 this morning. Apparently I was tired.

With this kind of effort we can get the trails into fantastic shape and they will stand up.  Nice work all.

Hey everyone, next trail day on the 16th of december @10:00 at nymph falls parking lot. The work will begin at the end of good enough and continue down through monkeys, lumpys and hopefully the plunge if enough people show up. Lets see if we can get more and more participation, and with any luck we can do this monthly and have all the trails ready for summer.
